Contract Duration: 14 Weeks

Schedule & Shift Details

  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week

  • Shifts: 12.5-hour shifts | 3 days per week

  • Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM

  • Weekends: Every other weekend required

  • Meal Break: 1-hour unpaid break

Compensation

  • Weekly Travel Rate: $2,794.00

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and highly skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for an immediate travel contract at a large acute care hospital in Brooklyn, NY. This opportunity is ideal for critical care professionals who excel in high-acuity, fast-paced environments and are dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU

  • Perform and assist with conscious sedation procedures

  • Initiate and manage IV insertions and phlebotomy

  • Continuously monitor, assess, and document patient conditions

  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams

  • Ensure compliance with all patient safety standards, policies, and clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program

  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU / Critical Care nursing experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with conscious sedation

  • Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience

  • Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification via NYSED required)

  • Current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications
