Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts per week
Weekly Hours: 34.5 hours
Compensation:
Local RN: $2,310 per week
Travel RN: $2,750 per week
We are seeking two experienced Registered Nurses to join a high-volume Labor & Delivery unit on the night shift. This role requires strong maternal-child health experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment. Candidates must demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, technical proficiency, and teamwork skills.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
Perform IV insertion, phlebotomy, and medication administration
Assist with and monitor patients during conscious sedation
Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and interdisciplinary care teams
Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record
Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
Minimum 2 years of Maternal and Child Health experience
Minimum 2 years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience
Minimum 2 years of conscious sedation experience
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
Education:
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Licensure:
Active New York State RN License
