Base Pay (Based on Experience):
$32.33/hr (0–9 years)
$40.41/hr (10–19 years)
$48.50/hr (20+ years)
Shift Differentials:
Nights: +$3.00/hr
Weekend Days: +$3.00/hr
Weekend Nights: +$7.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (2-year commitment)
Relocation Assistance: Up to $1,500
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join a high-acuity Emergency Department in Salem, Virginia. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, clinically advanced environment where patient care excellence, teamwork, and professional growth are top priorities.
This position is ideal for experienced ER RNs as well as strong Med-Surg RNs who are open to cross-training for night shifts.
Active Virginia RN license or Compact RN license eligible for Virginia
Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
BLS (AHA) certification (required)
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room RN experience in an acute care setting
Med-Surg RNs considered for cross-training (night shift only)
BSN or active enrollment in a BSN program
Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency care environment
Perform rapid triage, assessment, and treatment of patients across all age groups and acuity levels
Deliver safe, timely, and patient-centered emergency nursing care
Manage multiple patients simultaneously while prioritizing care based on acuity
Respond effectively in high-pressure, time-sensitive emergency situations
Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families
Coordinate discharge planning, follow-up care, and referrals
Document patient care accurately and in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
