Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program / Project Manager (PMO) to lead complex, cross-departmental technology initiatives within a large public-sector environment. This role focuses on strengthening accountability, transparency, and service delivery through enterprise-level IT programs, with particular emphasis on public safety transformation and compliance with regulatory and oversight agreements.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can manage multiple interdependent projects, partner closely with senior leadership, and drive measurable outcomes in a dynamic, compliance-driven environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, multi-department technology programs that improve operational effectiveness, accountability, and service delivery

  • Partner with senior IT leadership to develop and manage program and project plans, including:

    • Defined outcomes and success metrics

    • Budgets and schedules

    • Risk and dependency management strategies

  • Manage multiple interdependent projects within a unified program framework, ensuring alignment and shared accountability

  • Establish and maintain tracking mechanisms to monitor progress, performance, and value realization

  • Ensure IT investments meet or exceed stakeholder and customer expectations

  • Develop business-centric enterprise information management solutions based on assessments of:

    • Business practices and culture

    • Customer and stakeholder needs

    • Organizational goals and objectives

  • Deliver IT solutions that integrate with enterprise infrastructure, combining:

    • Existing systems and platforms

    • Enabling technologies

    • Commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) solutions

  • Operate effectively in evolving problem spaces by synthesizing inputs from multiple sources, identifying tradeoffs, and driving clear decisions

  • Apply a “lead-by-doing” approach to problem-solving and execution

  • Establish feedback loops across projects to capture lessons learned and continuously improve program delivery

  • Experience managing large-scale, multi-project programs with cross-functional teams
