CT Scan Technologist (Contract)
Location: Holmdel, NJ
Duration: Contract
Hours: 36 hrs/week | 12-hr shifts | 3 days/week

Schedule:

• Thu: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Fri: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Sat: 6:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• On-call: Sun 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (required)

• Holidays: 1 required during assignment

Pay: $65 – $70/hr (Local)

Role Summary

CT Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic CT procedures, supporting interventional exams, and ensuring high-quality imaging with strict patient safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams using established protocols

• Prepare and administer contrast media; perform venipuncture

• Review patient history and document in EPIC/PACS

• Verify exam orders and coordinate with radiologists/physicians

• Evaluate image quality and ensure diagnostic accuracy

• Monitor patients for adverse reactions

• Upload and manage outside imaging studies

• Comply with safety, policy, and on-call requirements

• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs., push/pull 50 lbs., and stand for long periods

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

• Minimum 2 years CT experience

• GE CT experience required (Revolution Frontier 64-slice preferred)

• Strong anatomy, positioning, and PACS knowledge

Certifications & Licensure

• NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License

• ARRT R.T.(R)

• AHA BLS

• ARRT (CT) required within 12 months

Preferred

• ARRT R.T.(CT)

• Epic / HIS / RIS experience
