The Certified Trauma Registrar (CTR) supports a Level I Trauma Program by managing, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy and compliance of trauma registry data. This fully remote role requires strong expertise in trauma registry standards, EMR systems, and reporting tools, with a focus on data integrity and regulatory compliance.
Maintain and manage trauma registry data for a Level I Trauma Center
Perform accurate data abstraction, entry, validation, and reporting
Utilize EMR and trauma registry systems to support trauma program reporting requirements
Ensure compliance with trauma program standards, guidelines, and regulatory reporting requirements
Support trauma program operations through accurate and timely data submissions
Identify data discrepancies and implement corrective actions to maintain data quality
Collaborate with trauma program leadership and clinical teams as needed
Adhere to confidentiality, data security, and regulatory requirements
Certified Trauma Registrar (CTR) – active certification required
Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s Degree preferred)
Minimum 2 years of experience working in a Level I Trauma Center
Hands-on experience with EMR systems and trauma registry platforms
Prior remote work experience required
