Position Type: Contract
The Application Analyst is responsible for conducting moderate to complex analysis within the assigned functional area. This role focuses on monitoring resources, evaluating business and system processes, and analyzing historical data trends to ensure optimal departmental performance and effectiveness.
The Application Analyst will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and support system solutions that enhance operational efficiency and address organizational needs.
Conduct detailed analysis of business and system processes to support operational effectiveness
Monitor resource utilization and evaluate workflow efficiency
Analyze historical data and trends to support decision-making
Collaborate with Payroll and IT teams to design and implement system solutions
Support improvements to HR and Payroll business processes
Assist with system testing, validation, and implementation activities
Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards
Communicate findings, recommendations, and status updates to stakeholders
In-depth knowledge of HR and Payroll processes
Experience with Oracle Payroll implementations, including system configuration and testing
Strong understanding of OTBI and BI Publisher reports for payroll auditing and compliance
Experience collaborating with technical teams on outbound data extracts and system integrations
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and ability to manage complex data sets
Knowledge of Oracle Absence Management
Knowledge of Oracle Time & Labor
Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments
