Job Title: Project Specialist
Location: New York, NY
Schedule: Hybrid (2 Days Onsite | 3 Days Remote)
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: Initial 13-week assignment with potential extension up to 6+ months
Pay Rate: $30 - $33/hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Specialist to provide project management support and help deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. This role plays a critical part in coordinating project activities, tracking financial metrics, and supporting project managers to ensure successful project execution.
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to assigned project managers
Assist in managing project timelines and ensuring deliverables are completed on schedule
Identify project risks, issues, or activities that may impact scope, budget, or timelines
Monitor project invoices and billing to ensure timely and accurate processing
Prepare, generate, and distribute aging and financial tracking reports
Support budget development and proposal preparation for business planning initiatives
Maintain project documentation, reports, and communications
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment and progress
Perform additional project-related duties as assigned
Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
Ability to track budgets, invoices, financial reports, and project metrics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Experience supporting projects in a project coordinator or project specialist role
Familiarity with project management workflows and financial tracking processes or tools
High School Diploma required
Associate’s degree or coursework in Business, Project Management, or a related field preferred
