Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)

Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Hours: 36 hours per week
12-hour shifts
3 shifts per week
Day Shift: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Weekends as needed
Holidays as needed
On-call required
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab is responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures. This role involves assessing patient needs, assisting physicians during procedures, managing patient care, and ensuring accurate documentation in alignment with professional nursing standards and evidence-based practices.
Assess patients and assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures
Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on individual patient needs
Identify patient care priorities through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
Develop and coordinate individualized plans of care through ongoing assessments
Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care throughout procedures
Document care according to standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities
Advocate for evidence-based nursing practices and support innovations in care delivery
Deliver patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing practice models
Perform additional duties as assigned
Minimum experience in cardiac and vascular procedures required
Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) experience required
Critical care experience
Neurovascular procedure experience
Prior experience using EPIC and Sensis
Required:
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Required:
Active New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) license or multi-state compact license
BLS (American Heart Association)
ACLS (American Heart Association)
Telemetry certification/competency
Fast-paced Cath Lab environment
Collaboration with interdisciplinary cardiac care teams
Compliance with clinical, safety, and regulatory standards
