Assignment Details

  • Duration: 14 Weeks

  • Schedule: Day Shift | 3 × 12-hour shifts per week

  • Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

  • Hours: 36 hours per week

Compensation Package

  • Gross Weekly Pay: $2,350

  • W2 Rate: $26/hour

  • Weekly Stipend: $1,414

Position Overview

A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care services in an acute care environment. This role involves delivering patient-centered respiratory therapy services for adult and pediatric populations while collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams.

Responsibilities

  • Perform respiratory assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans.

  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and other respiratory treatments.

  • Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatments as clinically indicated.

  • Provide respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients.

  • Operate and maintain respiratory equipment according to safety standards.

  • Assist with airway management and emergency respiratory interventions.

  • Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and clinical observations.

  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes.

  • Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Active New York State Respiratory Therapist License

  • Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Respiratory Therapy

  • Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience

  • Pediatric respiratory care experience required

  • Candidates must reside 100+ miles from the assignment location
