Shift: Day Shift – 3 × 12.5 hours (8:00 AM – 8:30 PM)
Hours per Week: 37.5
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Meal Break: 1-hour unpaid lunch
Compensation:
Weekly Pay: $2,916
Hourly Equivalent: $81/hr
A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a busy adult Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, critical care skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment.
Assess, monitor, and treat adult patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions.
Perform rapid triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity.
Initiate and manage IV insertion, phlebotomy, and medication administration.
Assist with and monitor patients during conscious sedation procedures.
Respond effectively to medical emergencies and assist in patient stabilization.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver timely emergency care.
Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the EMR.
Provide patient and family education as appropriate.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
Proven ability to work independently in a high-acuity adult ER setting
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Active New York State RN License
