W2 Rate: $26/hour

Local Candidates: Must reside 75+ miles from facility
A hospital is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. This role supports a high-acuity inpatient unit and requires strong clinical skills, efficient patient management, and proficiency in telemetry monitoring.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changes.
Manage patient assignments with ratios ranging from 1:5 to 1:7.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols.
Accurately document patient care using EPIC electronic medical records.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Active New York State RN license (in hand).
Minimum 1 year of recent MS/Telemetry experience.
BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required.
EPIC charting experience required.
Ability to work day shifts and every other weekend.
First-time travelers accepted.
