A organization is seeking an experienced Breast Sonographer to support diagnostic imaging services. The ideal candidate will independently perform high-quality ultrasound examinations with a strong focus on breast imaging while ensuring patient safety, accuracy, and compliance with clinical standards.
Independently operate sonographic equipment to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including breast imaging.
Obtain and review relevant patient medical history prior to examinations.
Utilize independent judgment during exams to accurately distinguish between normal and pathological findings.
Communicate examination findings clearly and effectively to the interpreting radiologist.
Manage daily operations of the sonographic lab, including patient scheduling.
Perform daily equipment maintenance, quality assurance, and quality control checks.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with departmental and regulatory standards.
Provide compassionate, patient-centered care throughout the imaging process.
Graduate of an ultrasound program accredited by a CHEA-recognized accrediting body under the U.S. Department of Education.
RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/GYN required.
Minimum 1 year of professional ultrasound experience.
Breast imaging experience is required.
Ability to successfully pass pre-employment health clearance.
