The Applications Development Analyst serves as a Senior Microsoft 365 Developer, responsible for designing, developing, and supporting business solutions using Microsoft 365 technologies. This role focuses on SharePoint Online, the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and Copilot 365 to deliver secure, scalable, and user-friendly solutions that enhance collaboration and streamline business processes.
The position works closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and IT teams, while also providing mentorship to junior staff and ensuring alignment with enterprise governance, security, and compliance standards.
Lead the design and development of business solutions using SharePoint Online and the Microsoft Power Platform
Modernize legacy SharePoint environments, including site migrations, architecture redesign, and user experience improvements
Design and integrate Copilot 365 and AI-driven solutions to improve productivity and automate workflows
Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Serve as a technical mentor to junior developers and analysts, including code reviews and knowledge sharing
Ensure all solutions comply with Microsoft 365 governance, security, and compliance standards
Develop and maintain technical documentation such as architecture diagrams, SOPs, and user guides
Manage the application lifecycle, including testing, deployment, versioning, and ongoing maintenance
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 applications and services
Coordinate with enterprise IT teams to ensure alignment with organization-wide Microsoft 365 architecture and policies
Track work using IT service management tools and contribute to knowledge base documentation
Provide training and ongoing support to end users and business teams
Stay current with Microsoft 365 roadmap updates and recommend new tools or enhancements
Follow and enforce departmental policies and procedures
Participate in team meetings, projects, and Microsoft 365 initiatives
Perform other duties as assigned
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum 5 years of experience developing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft 365 solutions
Expert-level experience with SharePoint Online
Strong hands-on experience with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
Experience leading or mentoring technical staff
Proficiency with PowerShell, JSON, REST APIs, and Microsoft Graph
Understanding of business process automation, data modeling, and UI/UX principles
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Customer-focused and collaborative approach
Experience with Copilot 365 and AI-enabled productivity tools
Experience leading SharePoint migration and modernization initiatives
Familiarity with enterprise governance and compliance frameworks
