Pay Range: $24.61 – $34.00/hour (based on experience)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Inpatient Coding Specialist III to perform advanced inpatient coding and DRG validation for acute-care hospital records. This is a metrics-driven, fully remote role supporting revenue integrity and coding compliance initiatives.
Assign and validate ICD-10-CM/PCS codes and DRGs for inpatient records
Ensure accurate sequencing, POA assignment, and documentation review
Maintain coding accuracy and productivity (1.8 charts/hour)
Identify and resolve DRG and coding quality issues
Support audits and respond to coding quality inquiries
RHIT, RHIA, or CCS required
3–5+ years acute-care inpatient hospital coding experience
Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, DRGs, and POA
Hospital inpatient coding background required
Not Accepted: LTAC, insurance, physician billing, or non-hospital coding
