Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Truck Dispatcher to support long-haul transportation operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, customer service experience, and hands-on knowledge of dispatching long-haul trucks. This role requires close coordination with drivers, customers, and internal teams to ensure efficient and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch and monitor long-haul drivers to ensure on-time pickups and deliveries
• Communicate regularly with drivers regarding routes, schedules, and load details
• Handle customer inquiries and provide updates on shipment status
• Manage email communication related to dispatch operations, load confirmations, and issue resolution
• Track loads and proactively resolve delays or service issues
• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and driver logs
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations
• Provide excellent customer service while managing multiple priorities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in truck dispatching, preferably long-haul operations
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Proficiency in email handling and basic computer systems
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently on-site
