Job Title: Business Analyst – SharePoint Migration
Location: Remote (MN-based candidates preferred)
Contract Duration: 6 months
A technology-focused organization is seeking an experienced Business Analyst – SharePoint Migration to support the planning and execution of a migration from SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online. This contract role will partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to gather requirements, document processes, and ensure successful adoption of SharePoint Online solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong business analysis expertise, hands-on experience with website and content migrations, and the ability to translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
Lead requirements gathering and documentation for SharePoint migration initiatives
Support migration planning, technical implementation, and business adoption activities
Analyze existing SharePoint 2019 sites, content structures, and workflows
Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, from individual contributors to leadership
Facilitate workshops, meetings, and discussions to build consensus and alignment
Develop clear business and functional requirements documentation
Support change management and user adoption efforts related to SharePoint Online
3–5 years of Business Analyst experience
Demonstrated experience supporting website projects involving content migration to new platforms
Strong stakeholder engagement and consensus-building skills
2+ years of hands-on experience with SharePoint 2019 and/or SharePoint Online as a power user, site owner, or advanced end user
Project management experience
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
