Job Title: Dental Assistant
Location: New York, NY 10065
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Weekdays)
Duration: 14 Weeks
Pay Rate: Up to $21/hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to support an Adult Dental Oral Surgery department within a fast-paced academic medical environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong chairside skills, oral surgery experience, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care and safety.
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Chairside Dental Assistant
Completion of a Certified Dental Assisting Program
Experience with four-handed dentistry
Oral Surgery experience
Dental Radiology experience
EPIC EMR experience
Fluent in Medical Spanish (required)
Ability to work variable weekday shifts
Assist dentists and oral surgeons during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
Prepare and position patients for dental and oral surgery procedures
Take, process, and document dental radiographs
Maintain sterile instruments and adhere to infection control protocols
Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR
Prepare, clean, and stock exam and procedure rooms
Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout all procedures
Comply with hospital policies, quality standards, and safety regulations
