Job Title: RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (FHA Float)
Location: Falmouth, MA
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay Rate: $76.33 – $79.33/hour
The Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry Float provides comprehensive patient-centered care in a fast-paced acute care environment. This role involves coordinating total nursing care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and delivering patient and family education while maintaining professional nursing standards.
2+ years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
Ability to perform own phlebotomy
Strong IV therapy skills
Travel nursing experience preferred
Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care using the nursing process
Monitor and manage patients on telemetry
Administer medications safely and per protocol
Provide patient and family education
Document accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Manage IV therapy, chest drainage devices, epidural analgesia, and cardiac medications
Care for post-operative, orthopedic, geriatric, and terminally ill patients
Respond effectively to emergency and urgent situations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Comply with all clinical policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active RN License (Massachusetts)
Current BLS certification
Completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia Exam
