Senior QA Analyst

Position Overview

Navitas Partners, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst to provide hands-on quality assurance support for application development and enhancement initiatives supporting Judicial Branch systems. This role requires a self-directed QA professional who can operate independently, apply sound testing judgment, and deliver high-quality results in environments with varying levels of QA maturity.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with Judicial Branch, court, or justice system applications and will actively contribute to testing strategy, perform comprehensive test execution, and help improve overall testing practices while collaborating closely with development and business teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on functional, regression, and exploratory testing across software applications, including judicial or court-related systems
  • Create, maintain, and execute test cases and test scenarios
  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of test plans and QA documentation
  • Identify risk areas and adjust testing depth and focus accordingly, particularly in judicial workflows
  • Ensure quality throughout the SDLC using Agile testing practices
  • Communicate testing results, defects, and risks clearly to stakeholders
  • Provide guidance and informal coaching to junior or less-experienced QA team members
  • Adapt to and succeed in environments without fully established QA processes

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience performing hands-on quality assurance testing for software applications
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile testing frameworks
  • Experience designing and executing test cases, including exploratory testing
  • Ability to create or contribute to test plans and structured QA documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to assess risk and prioritize testing efforts effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
  • Experience supporting teams in evolving or low-maturity QA environments
  • Prior experience supporting Judicial Branch, court systems, or justice system applications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with test automation tools or testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing standards (WCAG)
  • Experience supporting enterprise-scale or government systems
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines or automated test execution processes
