Shift: Mid-Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Schedule: 5 days per week | 8-hour shifts
Hours: 40 hours per week
Additional Requirements: Rotating weekends and holidays as needed; possible on-call coverage
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and patient-focused Radiologic Technologist – Diagnostic (X-Ray) for a 13-week contract assignment in Syracuse, NY. This role involves performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a community-based healthcare environment. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical proficiency while maintaining a compassionate, patient-first approach to care.
Clinical Imaging
Perform a broad range of diagnostic radiographic examinations with accuracy and efficiency
Ensure proper patient positioning and appropriate exposure techniques
Patient Care
Greet and prepare patients for imaging procedures
Clearly explain examination processes to reduce anxiety and ensure comfort
Radiation Safety
Adhere strictly to radiation safety standards and ALARA principles
Maintain a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors
Equipment & Operations
Operate diagnostic imaging equipment effectively
Identify and promptly report equipment issues or malfunctions
Documentation & Systems
Accurately process images and enter required information into the Radiology Information System (RIS)
Ensure documentation supports clinical, operational, and billing requirements
Compliance
Follow all departmental policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines
Education: Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) in Radiologic Technology or equivalent accredited program
Licensure: Active New York State Radiologic Technologist License (required)
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Technical Skills: Proficiency with diagnostic imaging equipment and RIS platforms
