Job Title: Lead Data Warehouse Developer

Job Overview

The Lead Data Warehouse Developer will work closely with internal stakeholders to maintain existing data warehouse processes and systems while supporting the onboarding of new data sources as required. This role is responsible for transforming, integrating, and loading data into the organization’s data infrastructure to support enterprise analytics and reporting initiatives.

The position also plays a key role in supporting a major data and analytics initiative by providing architectural guidance, hands-on development, and technical leadership across the data warehouse and business intelligence ecosystem.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and enhance existing data warehouse processes and systems

  • Assist with implementing and integrating new data sources as requested

  • Transform, combine, and load data into enterprise data infrastructure

  • Acquire data from multiple sources, including cloud platforms, using Secure FTP and other data transfer protocols

  • Develop and maintain PL/SQL code supporting production data analytics initiatives

  • Act as a database architect, reviewing current data analytics architecture and recommending future-state designs

  • Provide technical support for integrations between backend data systems and front-end reporting tools such as Tableau

  • Utilize existing ETL technologies (e.g., Attunity Compose) to support data integration workflows

  • Review current architecture and systems to align the data analytics environment with enterprise standards and best practices

  • Parse XML files into structured, consumable datasets for analytical use

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for the current environment and future enhancements

  • Provide guidance during user story reviews to recommend optimal platforms and technical approaches

  • Create or assist in developing dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau or similar BI tools


Preferred Qualifications

  • Additional years of experience beyond the minimum required qualifications for:

    • Advanced data warehouse development experience

    • Enterprise data integration and ETL development

    • Database design, architecture, and optimization
