This position is with a 221-bed acute care hospital serving surrounding communities. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center offering comprehensive services including cardiovascular care (open-heart surgery, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, and cardiac rehabilitation), orthopedic and spine care, robotic surgery, inpatient rehabilitation, and full imaging services.
Seeking an experienced and compassionate ICU Registered Nurse to join a collaborative critical care team. The ICU RN provides advanced patient care to critically ill patients requiring close monitoring, frequent assessments, and autonomous clinical decision-making.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations
Monitor critical vital signs and intervene in life-threatening situations
Deliver safe, effective patient care using sound clinical judgment
Advocate for patients as part of an interdisciplinary care team
Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments
Provide emotional support to patients and families throughout hospitalization
ICU Beds: 16
Patient Ratios: 1:1 and 1:2
Minimum 1+ year of recent ICU RN experience in an acute care setting
Active Florida RN license or approved multistate (compact) RN license
Compact license holders must obtain Florida licensure within 60 days of relocation
RN Diploma or Associate Degree required; BSN preferred
Required Certifications (Timeline-Based):
NIH Stroke Scale – within 30 days of start
BLS – within 30 days of start
ACLS – within 6 months of start
PALS – within 6 months of start
Salary Range:
$33.77/hr (entry)
$38.28/hr (5 years experience)
$42.86/hr (10 years experience)
$49.06/hr (17+ years experience)
Shift Differentials:
Nights: +$4.50/hr
Weekends: +$1.50/hr
Day Shift: $15,000
Night Shift: $20,000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
