Position: Night RN – Emergency Department Float Pool
Location: Syracuse, NY
Duration: 18 Weeks
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay: Local: $57.21/hr | Traveler: $66/hr
Position Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join the Adult Emergency Department Float Pool. The ideal candidate will have experience providing care to both adult and pediatric patients, preferably in Level 1 or 2 trauma hospitals. EPIC EMR experience is highly desirable. This role involves delivering comprehensive emergency care with minimal supervision, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, triage, and provide care for adult and pediatric patients in the Emergency Department
Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and respond to changes in patient status
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
Perform a wide range of patient care skills in the acute care setting with minimal orientation
Qualifications:
Required:
Current New York State RN license
BLS Certification (must be able to recertify)
Minimum 1.5 years recent acute care experience in a hospital of similar size/trauma designation
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred:
Experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma hospitals
EPIC EMR experience
