Schedule: 40 Hours per Week | 4 Days per Week
Local Pay Rate: $2,320 per Week
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to support a fast-paced Medical/Surgical unit in the Bronx. This 40-hour-per-week assignment is ideal for a clinical professional with strong technical expertise, particularly in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation. The RN will play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality care to a diverse Med/Surg patient population.
Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation for Medical/Surgical patients.
Clinical Skills: Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy to support diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Conscious Sedation: Monitor and manage patients receiving conscious sedation, ensuring adherence to safety and monitoring protocols.
Collaboration: Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and positive patient outcomes.
Documentation & Compliance: Accurately document care in electronic health records and ensure compliance with all regulatory and primary source verification requirements.
Minimum 2 years of experience in IV insertion and phlebotomy
Minimum 2 years of experience managing conscious sedation
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN or ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Active New York State RN License
Primary Source Verification via NYS Department of Education (NYSED)
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
AHA Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) – Preferred (required for certain locations)
