This Registered Nurse role supports a Cardiac Telemetry / Medical-Surgical unit caring for adult patients with cardiac and general medical conditions. The RN delivers safe, high-quality bedside care while working collaboratively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
Assess patient condition on admission and throughout each shift
Identify and report changes in patient status promptly
Administer medications and monitor patient response
Perform ordered procedures and continuous monitoring
Document care accurately and in a timely manner
Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge plans
Provide responsive, patient-centered care with strong communication and teamwork
1 year of RN experience required
Experience accepted from Home Health, LTAC, Skilled Nursing, Outpatient Rehab, or Corrections
Acute care experience is NOT required
Active Florida RN license or compact multistate RN license
Compact nurses must obtain FL license within 60 days if relocating
BLS required within 30 days of start
ACLS required within 90 days of start
Comfortable managing higher patient ratios and working in a team-based environment
Total Beds: 45
Fast-paced cardiac telemetry / med-surg unit
Strong emphasis on teamwork, communication, and adaptability
Open due to internal promotions and RN movement into other specialties
Hourly Pay Range:
$29.00/hr (2 years experience)
$33.71/hr (5 years experience)
Up to $43.00/hr (17+ years experience)
Shift Differentials:
Nights: $4.25/hr
Weekends: $3.00/hr
Sign-On Bonus: None
