3 × 12-hour shifts
Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Rotating weekends)
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Rotating weekends)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Floating: Required across multiple Medical-Surgical units
Must live within a commutable distance
Must be comfortable with a 7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
ONLY Medical-Surgical experience is accepted
Candidate must currently be working in a Med-Surg unit
Initial virtual interview may be conducted, however an in-person interview is required prior to offer
Interview process includes shadowing, unit tour, and leadership interview
This position is part of a Medical-Surgical Float Pool, providing staffing support across multiple inpatient Med-Surg units. The ideal RN is highly adaptable, clinically strong, and comfortable delivering safe, high-quality bedside care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and sound clinical decision-making
Deliver direct patient care across multiple Medical-Surgical units
Advocate for patients and families while maintaining confidentiality
Provide plan-based nursing care with a focus on safety and quality outcomes
Adapt quickly to different units, teams, workflows, and patient populations
1 year of RECENT acute care Medical-Surgical RN experience (within the last year) – REQUIRED
Must currently be working in a Med-Surg unit
Willing and able to float between multiple Med-Surg units
Active Florida RN license or Compact Multistate RN license
Compact RNs must obtain FL license within 60 days if relocating
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BLS certification required within 30 days of start
AHCA Level 2 background screening and fingerprinting required
Flat Rate: $43.00/hour (same rate regardless of experience)
Shift Differentials:
Nights: $4.25/hour
Weekends: $3.00/hour
