Position Title: Central Service / Sterile Processing Technician
Location: Hyannis, MA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $25–$30 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to support the decontamination, preparation, sterilization, storage, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment. This role ensures strict adherence to infection control, regulatory, and patient safety standards.
Decontaminate, assemble, inspect, package, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
Adhere to PPE, sterilization, and safety protocols
Operate sterile processing equipment, including steam, ETO, Sterrad, washers, and ultrasonic cleaners
Store, track, and distribute sterile supplies using preference cards
Accurately document sterilization loads, biological indicators, and quality checks
Maintain clean, organized work areas and provide professional customer service to clinical teams
High School Diploma or GED required
Sterile Processing Aide experience preferred
Basic computer proficiency and strong communication skills
Knowledge of medical terminology required
Anatomy & Physiology coursework, SPD certification, or a minimum of 3 years of recent Sterile Processing experience preferred
