Location: Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567
Compensation: $50–$52 per hour

Shift & Schedule:

  • Monday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

  • Tuesday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (or 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, based on departmental needs)

Position Summary

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist – Generalist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, patient-centered care, and strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and fluoroscopic examinations, in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

  • Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients accurately, and ensuring comfort and safety

  • Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images

  • Adhere to radiation safety standards, including ALARA principles, to protect patients, staff, and self

  • Review images for technical quality and accuracy prior to submission for physician interpretation

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within RIS and EMR systems

  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and clinical staff to support timely and effective patient care

  • Perform routine equipment checks and promptly report malfunctions or safety concerns

  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Assist with patient mobility and transfers as needed during imaging procedures

Requirements

  • Graduate of an AMA-accredited Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA) program or equivalent

  • Current New York State licensure

  • ARRT certification and active registration required

  • Strong knowledge of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures

  • Excellent analytical and technical skills with attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
