We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered rehabilitative care within an acute care hospital setting. This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive physical therapy services across the care continuum, including evaluation, treatment planning, and implementation of evidence-based interventions. The Physical Therapist collaborates closely with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes, mobility, and functional independence.
Active Florida Physical Therapist (PT) license (required)
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy (Master’s preferred)
Minimum 2 years of recent acute care physical therapy experience (required)
BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care in alignment with physician orders and patient goals.
Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions to improve strength, mobility, endurance, balance, and functional performance.
Monitor patient progress through ongoing assessments and modify treatment plans as clinically indicated.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and use of adaptive or assistive equipment.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in accordance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards.
Manage and prioritize caseloads effectively while ensuring clear communication and continuity of care across interdisciplinary teams.
