Schedule & Shift Details

  • Shift Types: Days / Evenings / Mixed

  • Weekends: Rotating

  • Shift Length: 8-hour shifts only

Available Shift Times:

  • 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

  • 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

  • 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

  • 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

  • 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

Compensation

  • $30.34 – $42.47 per hour, based on years of experience

Position Overview

We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support a high-acuity acute care hospital environment. This role is responsible for performing diagnostic and screening nuclear medicine procedures using radioactive materials and advanced imaging equipment. The technologist will work closely with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver accurate, timely imaging that supports informed clinical decision-making, while maintaining strict compliance with radiation safety and ALARA standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or a related field

  • ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or NMTCB certification – required

  • Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist license – required

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required

Responsibilities

  • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures for diagnostic and screening purposes in accordance with ALARA principles

  • Prepare, administer, and document radiopharmaceuticals following established safety and regulatory guidelines

  • Operate, monitor, and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety

  • Process, organize, and maintain imaging studies and related documentation

  • Verify patient identity, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout examinations

  • Maintain accurate records and comply with departmental policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards

  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary clinical teams to support efficient workflow and diagnostic accuracy
