Hours: 40 hours per week
Primary Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Wednesday only: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled and dependable MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Newark, NY. This full-time, day-shift role offers a consistent weekday schedule in a well-equipped imaging department. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality MRI examinations while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established imaging protocols.
Perform MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout procedures
Screen patients for MRI safety and contraindications
Operate MRI equipment and related imaging technology effectively
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards
Communicate clearly with patients, radiologists, and healthcare team members
Monitor equipment performance and report technical issues promptly
Provide coverage for alternate shifts as required
ARRT (R) certification required
MRI certification preferred
BLS certification required
New York State license required prior to start date
Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience preferred
Strong knowledge of MRI safety standards and procedures
Excellent patient care, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a clinical environment
