Job Title: Laboratory Supervisor
Location: Bradenton, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift (Rotating Weekends)
Compensation: $32.62 – $48.93 per hour (Based on Experience)
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Laboratory Supervisor to lead daily operations within a high-volume clinical laboratory environment. This role is responsible for supervising staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining quality standards, and supporting timely and accurate diagnostic testing to enhance patient care.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical expertise, a commitment to quality, and the ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing laboratory team.
Team Leadership: Supervise technical and non-technical laboratory staff; manage scheduling, training, coaching, and performance development.
Operational Management: Oversee laboratory workflows including specimen collection, processing, referral testing, and technical disciplines.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to state, federal, and accreditation standards.
Quality Assurance: Monitor quality metrics, analyze performance data, implement corrective actions, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Resource Management: Manage staffing, payroll, supplies, expenses, and workload volume to optimize operational efficiency.
Talent Acquisition: Participate in screening, interviewing, and hiring qualified laboratory personnel.
Licensure
Required: Active State of Florida Laboratory Supervisor License
Preferred: Licensure in three technical specialties
Experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Medical Technologist
Prior laboratory supervisory experience required
Education
Associate degree in Science or Medical Technology required
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology preferred
