Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract opportunity in a skilled nursing/rehabilitation environment. The OT will help residents regain independence and improve quality of life by evaluating functional abilities and implementing individualized therapy plans.
Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
Provide therapeutic interventions to improve activities of daily living (ADLs)
Document evaluations, treatment sessions, progress notes, and discharge summaries
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy goals and home programs
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of practice
Graduate degree from an accredited OT program
Experience in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care setting preferred
Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
