Position Overview
We are seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an urgent contract opportunity in a skilled nursing/rehabilitation setting. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders, working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team to improve patient outcomes.
Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including PTs, OTs, nursing staff, and physicians
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
Ensure compliance with all state licensure, federal, and facility regulations
Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of practice
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience in Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care setting preferred
Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to start within 2 weeks of submission
