Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Float)
Location: Falmouth, MA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 Hours/Week | Rotating Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Pay Rate: $65 – $68 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in Falmouth, MA. This role requires strong clinical skills, flexibility to float, and the ability to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
Travel nursing experience preferred
Must be able to perform own phlebotomy
Strong IV therapy experience
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Active Massachusetts RN license
BLS certification required
Completion of:
Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
Basic Arrhythmia Exam
Coordinate and deliver comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process
Monitor and manage patients on telemetry
Administer medications safely and assess patient responses
Provide patient and family education
Deliver care as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team
Document care accurately in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
Manage IV therapy, chest drainage devices, and epidural analgesia
Care for post-operative, orthopedic, and terminally ill patients
Recognize and report signs of abuse or neglect per legal requirements
Respond effectively to emergency and urgent situations
Provide age-appropriate care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
Maintain compliance with professional standards, policies, and protocols
