The facility is seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a busy tertiary care hospital. The unit consists of 26 beds and specializes in the care of patients post-PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, post-myocardial infarction, and patients receiving cardiac pharmacological interventions.
The RN must be comfortable managing a patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:7 in a Medical-Surgical setting while providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
Licensure:
Active New York RN License required at time of submission (no exceptions)
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of MS/Telemetry nursing experience
Certifications:
BLS required
Cardiac Monitoring & Emergency Response:
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Use of Rapid Response and Code Teams
IV Therapy / Phlebotomy:
Peripheral IV line care and management
Respiratory Care:
Nasal cannula
Oxygen face masks
Portable oxygen tanks
Non-invasive airway management
Professional Skills:
Isolation precautions
Must be proficient in EPIC charting
