Director of Sterile Processing
Location: Asheville, NC Area
Schedule: Full-Time | Days | Rotating Weekends
Salary: $110,000 – $170,000
Performance Bonus: Up to 17.5%
Sign-On Bonus: Available
Relocation Assistance: Starting at $5,000
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Director of Sterile Processing to lead a large Sterile Processing Department (SPD) supporting a major acute-care facility. This role reports to the VP of Perioperative Services and is responsible for operational quality, team leadership, and ensuring safe, compliant instrument processing.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Nursing OR completion of a two-year Surgical Technology program
IAHCSMM/HSPA certification (CRCST or CSPDT) required
5+ years of leadership experience in Central Sterile Processing
Experience leading large teams in a large, acute-care hospital
Strong knowledge of OR instrumentation and sterilization processes
Manage daily operations for a department of 80+ staff
Ensure compliance with sterilization standards and infection control
Work closely with OR, Endoscopy, and Clinic teams to support instrumentation needs
Oversee hiring, training, and staff development
Recommend equipment, process improvements, and resource needs
