Interventional Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic
Location: Bronx, NY
Type: Contract
Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Range: $48–$58 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to support minimally invasive, image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will be skilled in operating angiographic equipment, administering contrast agents, and ensuring patient safety throughout all phases of care.
Assist radiologists during interventional procedures using angiographic imaging systems.
Perform and support procedures such as balloon angioplasty and stent placement.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized imaging equipment.
Administer contrast agents safely and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
Ensure proper patient positioning, safety, and comfort during procedures.
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
Minimum 1 year of experience performing interventional radiology procedures, including angiography, angioplasty, and stenting.
Strong technical proficiency with imaging systems and IR protocols.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Associate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist license (may be obtained following offer).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA.
One of the following ARRT advanced certifications:
ARRT (CI) – Cardiac Interventional Radiology
ARRT (CV) – Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology
ARRT (VI) – Vascular Interventional Radiology
