Job Title: Controller
Location: Richmond, VA
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift (Rotating Weekends)
Compensation: $100,000–$150,000 annually
Incentive Bonus: Up to 17.5%

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Controller for an exciting job in Richmond, VA.
Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff, including direct supervision of the Assistant Controller.
Oversee daily accounting operations, including workflow management, productivity standards, and performance outcomes.
Set and monitor departmental productivity and ensure timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
Promote a culture of open, transparent communication across finance and operational teams.
Support annual budgeting, cost reporting, audit preparation, and other financial deliverables under the direction of senior finance leadership.
Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to deadlines.
Review and reconcile general ledger accounts; resolve discrepancies promptly.
Manage month-end close processes for the hospital and affiliated entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Recruit, train, evaluate, and develop team members to maintain high technical and service standards.
Maintain and enforce internal controls, including compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley 404 requirements.
Ensure timely completion of monthly balance sheet reviews and required financial attestations.
Safeguard financial integrity, accuracy of reporting, and the reliability of audit trails.
Perform additional duties as assigned by senior financial leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (preferred).
Minimum 3 years of accounting experience (required).
Preferred: 5+ years of accounting experience with 1–2 years of supervisory experience; healthcare background strongly preferred.
CPA certification strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and audit processes.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage deadlines and support complex financial cycles.
