A School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support students within an elementary school setting. The SLP will provide direct therapy, evaluations, and ongoing support for a student caseload while collaborating closely with school staff and another SLP partner. This role is ideal for experienced clinicians and is also open to Clinical Fellows (CFs), with supervision provided by the school.
Provide speech and language therapy to students based on IEP goals and individual needs.
Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring.
Maintain accurate documentation and participate in IEP meetings as required.
Collaborate closely with school staff, teachers, parents, and a fellow SLP sharing the caseload.
Deliver services in accordance with state regulations and school district guidelines.
Support a mixed caseload of approximately 40 students, split between two SLPs.
Active South Carolina SLP License
Experience in school-based therapy setting preferred, but not required
Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Placement is at Forest Hills Elementary
Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply – supervision will be provided
Student caseload is shared to ensure balanced workload and continuity of care
