We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist (Sonographer) with a strong OB/GYN background to join a clinic in the Bedford, TX area. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience performing gynecological and obstetrical sonograms, with the skill to accurately evaluate fetal development, pelvic anatomy, and identify abnormalities. This role is perfect for a sonographer who thrives in a patient-focused outpatient setting and is committed to high-quality diagnostic imaging.
Perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations, including transabdominal and endovaginal scanning.
Capture high-quality diagnostic images following proper protocols and measurement techniques.
Identify normal and abnormal pelvic anatomy, fetal development, and reproductive structures.
Conduct and document biophysical profiles, fetal anatomical assessments, and fetal anomaly screenings.
Recognize and report findings such as ectopic pregnancies, fetal anomalies, and other abnormal conditions.
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to ensure accurate interpretation and quality patient care.
Maintain patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality throughout the examination process.
Ensure equipment is maintained, cleaned, and operated safely according to clinic standards.
Complete accurate documentation and imaging logs in the clinic’s EMR or reporting system.
ARDMS certification in OB/GYN or equivalent credential strongly preferred.
Minimum 2+ years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience required.
Must have at least 1 year of experience working in an outpatient clinic within the last 3 years.
Demonstrated expertise performing the following:
Gynecological and obstetrical sonograms
Evaluation of normal and abnormal pelvic anatomy
Fetal anatomy and biophysical profiles
Identification of fetal anomalies
Detection of ectopic pregnancies
Accurate measurement techniques for both transabdominal and endovaginal scans
Understanding of expected fetal development across all three trimesters
Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.
Excellent image quality assessment and attention to diagnostic detail.
CPR/BLS certification (clinic dependent, often required).
Experience using major ultrasound systems (GE, Philips, Siemens, etc.).
Knowledge of clinic-based workflows and fast-paced patient scheduling.
Experience working with electronic medical record systems.
