Seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a night-shift travel assignment. The ER RN will provide high-quality emergency care, manage varied patient acuity, and float as needed based on census and skillset.
Active NY RN License (no pending licenses)
Minimum 1 year ER experience
First-time travelers accepted
Required Certifications:
BLS
ACLS
PALS
NIHSS
Charting: Epic (preferred)
Ratios: Typically 1:5, mixed/shared acuity
Float Requirement: Yes, as census requires
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
RTO: Minimal requests preferred
Adult & pediatric emergency care
Dysrhythmia interpretation & management
Management of multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
Blood product administration
Central line care/management
Phlebotomy & IV starts
Continuous IV paralytics & sedation
Emergency medications
IV vasopressors
Procedural sedation administration
Stroke/CVA care
Infection control & isolation precautions
Scrub Color: Navy and white (any combination)
COVID-19 Vaccine: Not required (per facility guideline)
