Position: Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (ER)
Location: Rochester, NY 14621
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 4×12 Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Weekends: Every other weekend
Orientation: 24 hours
Call-Off Policy: Up to 3 shifts per contract
Holidays: Must be available every other holiday
A high-acuity Level II trauma facility in Rochester, NY is seeking an experienced ER Travel RN to provide rapid-response, high-quality emergency care. This role involves managing adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong clinical judgment, advanced critical-care skills, and the ability to perform under pressure.
Minimum 2 years of recent ER nursing experience
Active New York RN license (no pending)
EPIC charting experience required
Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
Starting & maintaining IVs
Phlebotomy
Blood product administration
Central line care
IV vasopressors
CPAP/BiPAP
Ventilator management
CVA/stroke
Neuro-trauma
Traumatic brain injury
Spinal cord injury
Dysrhythmia interpretation
Dysrhythmia management
Adult & pediatric ED patients
Gunshot wounds
Ortho trauma
