Position Title: Travel Operating Room Technician (OR Tech)
Location: Cooperstown, NY 13326
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day | 3×12-hour shifts (07:00 AM – 07:00 PM)
Travel Pay Range: $55–$58/hour
Position Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Travel Operating Room Technician for an exciting job in Cooperstown, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform scrubbing duties for a wide range of surgical procedures.
Prepare and maintain sterile instrument tables and surgical equipment.
Handle instruments, supplies, specimens, and trays accurately.
Collaborate with surgeons, RNs, anesthesiologists, and CRNAs during procedures.
Assist with setup, breakdown, and cleaning of operating rooms.
Ensure surgical instruments and equipment are functioning and available.
Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.
Participate in on-call rotations as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous OR Tech or Surgical Technologist experience preferred.
Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program (if required by state/facility).
Knowledge of aseptic techniques, surgical instruments, and procedures.
Ability to anticipate the surgical team’s needs and respond effectively.
Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
