Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Rochester, NY
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 4x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Pay Range: $23–$33 per hour
Job Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a night-shift contract assignment in a medical-surgical environment. The ideal candidate will be confident managing their own patient assignments with RN support, delivering safe and compassionate care, and maintaining high standards of documentation and teamwork.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Manage assigned patient caseloads independently with RN backup.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and overall well-being.
Complete accurate and timely documentation using the Epic EMR system.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient treatment plans.
Work every other weekend as part of the shift schedule.
Qualifications:
Active New York LPN license.
Minimum of 2 years of recent hospital experience (within the last 2 years).
Strong ability to handle patient assignments independently while collaborating with RN staff.
