Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY
Contract Duration: 14 Weeks
Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Pay Rate:
Local: $1,912 weekly
Travel: $2,600 weekly
Job Summary:
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality mammography and stereotactic breast imaging procedures in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate ensures patient comfort and safety while maintaining strict compliance with MQSA and ACR standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform mammography and stereotactic breast procedures under radiologist supervision.
Prepare and position patients, ensuring clear communication and a positive patient experience.
Select appropriate exposure factors and acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
Maintain all quality standards in accordance with the 1999 ACR Mammography QA/QC Manual and Hologic Selenia Dimensions QC Manual.
Accurately document and track patient data within the Radiology Information System for reporting and billing.
Meet continuing education requirements as mandated by MQSA.
Adhere to departmental and hospital policies while upholding excellent patient care standards.
Perform additional duties as needed to support efficient departmental operations.
Requirements:
AAS in Radiologic Technology or equivalent (Required)
NYS Radiologic Technologist license/registration (Required or eligible)
ARRT Mammography certification (Required or eligible; must be obtained within 1 year)
Minimum of 1 year of mammography experience (Required)
Current CPR certification (Required)
