Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 36 hours per week | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Pay Range: $53 – $63 per hour
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking Registered Nurse (RN) – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for an exciting job in Hyannis, MA.
Deliver comprehensive critical care using the nursing process and maintain complete, accurate clinical documentation.
Conduct ongoing assessments of patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs throughout their ICU stay, including discharge planning.
Develop and communicate individualized plans of care based on patient assessments.
Serve as charge nurse when required, demonstrating effective leadership skills.
Utilize electronic health records and nursing informatics efficiently.
Act as a clinical resource to staff, supporting patient care, orientation, and education.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance patient care and evaluating outcomes.
Follow all safety protocols, including blood and body fluid policies.
Maintain ongoing professional development, including documenting continuing education.
Remain current on clinical techniques, standards, and regulatory guidelines relevant to critical care.
Uphold patient confidentiality and represent the organization professionally in all interactions.
Perform related duties as assigned.
Required:
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Active Massachusetts RN license.
Current BLS certification.
Prior ICU/critical care experience.
Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia competency assessments.
ACLS certification.
Preferred:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
