Hours: 08:00 AM – 4:30 PM
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care to residents within a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. The role focuses on improving mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence.
Assist in implementing individualized treatment plans designed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
Provide therapeutic interventions including exercises, mobility training, gait training, and strengthening activities.
Observe, document, and report patient progress or changes in condition.
Support residents in safe use of assistive devices and equipment.
Collaborate with the therapy team and facility staff to support continuity of care.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation per facility and regulatory standards.
Active state license or eligibility to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA).
Graduation from an accredited PTA program.
Experience in SNF/LTC environments preferred but not required.
Strong teamwork, communication, and patient-care skills.
Ability to work the guaranteed hours for the duration of the contract.
