Role: Medical Technologist / Medical Lab Scientist
Schedule: Full-time Nights (10:00 PM–6:30 AM; 8/10/12-hour shifts, Rotating Weekends)
Compensation: $27.09 – $37.92 per hour
Differentials: $2.50/night, $2 on-call
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (Night Shift)
Relocation Assistance: Considered on a case-by-case basis
Perform stat and routine clinical laboratory testing following established protocols and quality standards.
Conduct quality control, proficiency testing, and routine equipment maintenance.
Process and analyze specimens; manage pending logs and ensure accurate result correlation, including delta checks.
Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and resolve testing discrepancies.
Report critical values promptly and accurately.
Support CAP and other regulatory compliance through proper documentation and adherence to laboratory guidelines.
Monitor inventory, maintain workflow efficiency, and uphold departmental performance standards.
Associate Degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or related field preferred.
Active Florida Technologist License required.
Minimum 3 years of Medical Technologist experience required.
